Reading Terminal Market opened in 1893 beneath the Reading Railroad train shed and is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating indoor public markets in the United States. The market currently hosts more than 80 merchants offering produce, meats, baked goods, prepared foods, and specialty items, serving residents and tourists year-round.
