Portland Union Station

Portland Union Station opened in 1896 and is characterized by its Romanesque Revival architecture and prominent clock tower. Built as a union station to serve multiple railroads, it remains an active passenger rail terminal serving Amtrak routes including the Cascades and Coast Starlight. The building is recognized as a historic landmark and continues to be a visual gateway to downtown Portland from the north.
