Canada Place (Edmonton)

Canada Place is a striking glass-and-steel office building located in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, known for its unique pink color and stepped design that resembles the Canadian flag's maple leaf. Opened in 1988, it serves as the main federal government office for Edmonton and much of Western Canada. The building features two stepped office blocks connected by an atrium and is adjacent to the Edmonton Convention Centre, offering easy access via the Edmonton Pedway. A food court and underground parking enhance its appeal for visitors. Originally designed to accommodate a third tower, the building's future expansion remains a possibility. In 2007, it was sold to a private developer, marking a significant shift in its ownership.
