John Ruan House

The John Ruan House, built in 1794, is a historic mansion located in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Late Georgian mansion, notable for its unique architectural features, served as the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Museum and Library from 1958 until 2021. The house has a rich history, having changed ownership multiple times and even functioning as a kindergarten in the late 19th century.
