American Indian Health & Family Services (AIHFS)

American Indian Health & Family Services of Detroit was founded in 1978 to provide medical, behavioral health, social services, and cultural programming to Native American residents of Detroit. The organization operates a clinic, hosts cultural events and educational programs, and serves urban Native people from multiple tribal nations across Michigan. AIHFS is a longstanding Indigenous-led community institution in Detroit.
