Azerbaijan Football Academy

The Azerbaijan Football Academy, established on February 23, 2009, serves as a premier youth training facility for aspiring footballers in Azerbaijan. Officially opened by UEFA vice president Şenes Erzik, the academy boasts state-of-the-art training amenities, including multiple grass pitches, a floodlit synthetic pitch, a gym, hydrotherapy pools, and specialized areas for fitness and goalkeeping training. It has attracted notable visitors, including former Spain national team captain Fernando Hierro, and is dedicated to nurturing young talent, with a focus on developing players for the highest levels of football in the country.
