Hotel San Carlos hauntings

Hotel San Carlos opened in 1928 in downtown Phoenix and is located at 202 N Central Ave. The hotel is the focus of a long-standing local legend that a young woman named Leone Jensen died there in 1928 and that her spirit haunts the building; this story is widely reported in local histories and paranormal accounts. The San Carlos is frequently cited on Phoenix ghost tours and in books about Arizona hauntings.
