Edmonton Expo Centre

The Edmonton Expo Centre is a prominent multi-purpose convention center located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, boasting over 410,000 square feet of exhibition space. Opened in 1984, it has undergone significant renovations, including a major expansion in 2009 that doubled its size. The venue features seven exhibition halls, a ballroom, and a 4,600-seat arena known as the Flair Airlines Hangar. Historically, it has hosted various events, including the World Ringette Championships and the Powerama Motoring Expo. The Expo Centre is currently undergoing a $98 million rehabilitation project, enhancing its facilities and sustainability features, including the installation of Canada's largest rooftop solar array, with completion expected in 2025. It serves as a key location for events in the region and is home to the Edmonton Stingers basketball team.
