Giacoletti Building

The Giacoletti Building, also known as the Juan Romano Building, is a historical commercial structure located in San Martín Plaza, Lima, Peru. Built in the early 20th century by Italian architects, it features a unique triangular design and was initially celebrated for its Art Nouveau elements. Declared a historical monument in 1972, the building housed various businesses over the years, including a popular chicken shop. Tragically, it was severely damaged by a fire in 2018, leading to its abandonment. However, restoration efforts began in 2025 to revive its original architectural style, making it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike, as it represents Lima's rich cultural heritage.
