Koon House No. 2

Koon House No. 2, located at 2959 U.S. Highway 167 in Sheridan, Arkansas, is a historic single-story structure notable for its unique construction of vertically placed small logs. Built in 1936 by Hillary Henry 'Pappy' Koon, this T-shaped house served as his family residence and is recognized as the first of several similar homes he constructed in the area. The house features a frame addition and a carport added in the 20th century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
