Television City

Television City, located in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles, is a historic television studio complex that opened in 1952. Designed by architects William Pereira and Charles Luckman, it has been the production site for numerous iconic TV shows and events, including The Price Is Right and The Young and the Restless. The facility features a striking modern architectural style and currently houses eight studios. In 2018, it was sold to Hackman Capital Partners, which plans a $1.25 billion redevelopment to expand the complex while preserving its historic elements. Visitors may occasionally take backstage tours, offering a glimpse into the world of television production.
