Michigan Central Station (haunting legends)

Michigan Central Station, a 1913 Beaux-Arts train station that was largely abandoned after 1988, became a focal point for urban explorers and photographers. For decades it has been the subject of local legends and numerous anecdotal reports claiming paranormal activity and hauntings; these accounts are unverified and debated. Its derelict appearance and frequent use as a location for films and photography reinforced its reputation as a haunted site. In 2018 Ford Motor Company purchased the building and announced long-term redevelopment plans.
