Commerce house

The Commerce house is a historic five-floor building in Tampere, Finland, located on Hämeenkatu street and the Tampere Central Square. Built in 1899, it showcases the Art Nouveau architectural style and was designed by the notable Helsinki-based architecture bureau Andersin, Jung ja Bomanson. Originally home to the Hotel Central, later renamed Hotel Centrum, the building also housed Finland's first McDonald's restaurant from 1984 until 2015, following a brief stint as a Burger King. The building's rich history and architectural significance make it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
