Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library

Opened in 1971 and designed by architect Gordon Bunshaft, the LBJ Presidential Library houses the papers and artifacts of President Lyndon B. Johnson and serves as a federal presidential library and museum. The facility includes extensive archival collections, a replica of the Oval Office as furnished during the Johnson administration, and rotating exhibits on Johnson-era policy and history. It is located on the University of Texas campus and conducts public programs and educational outreach.
