Christmas in the Park - seasonal display installations at Plaza de César Chávez

Christmas in the Park is an annual holiday exhibition of lighted displays, animated scenes, and seasonal installations hosted in Plaza de César Chávez in downtown San Jose each winter. The event originated in the 1970s and is organized by a nonprofit that maintains and restores many of the donated display pieces used year after year. The installations transform the downtown plaza into a focused public exhibition space for holiday-themed art and kinetic displays and draw large visitor numbers during the season.
