Louis Armstrong House Museum

Jazz trumpeter and vocalist Louis Armstrong lived in this Corona, Queens house with his wife Lucille from 1943 until his death in 1971. The property is preserved as the Louis Armstrong House Museum and Archive, containing Armstrong's recordings, papers, photographs, and personal effects. Queens College, City University of New York, operates the museum and uses the collection for research and public programming.
