Lake County Superior Courthouse (demolished)

The Lake County Superior Courthouse, constructed in 1903 by architect Joseph Tristan Hutton, served as the original courthouse for Lake County in Hammond, Indiana. This historic building was situated at the intersection of Hohman Avenue and Rimbach Street, contributing to the architectural landscape of the area. Unfortunately, it was demolished in 1974, making way for a parking lot, marking the end of an era for this significant structure in northwest Indiana.
