Walnut Grove (Spotsylvania County, Virginia)

Walnut Grove is a historic Greek Revival-style house located in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, built in 1840 by master builder William A. Jennings. This five-bay house features a distinctive front porch supported by Tuscan columns and retains much of its original appearance from the mid-1800s. Visitors can explore the grounds, which include an original smokehouse, a restored 18th-century building now serving as a bed and breakfast, and beautiful gardens. Walnut Grove was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
