Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History was founded in 1965 by Dr. Charles H. Wright and is located in Detroit. It is one of the largest museums dedicated to African American history and culture, housing extensive permanent and rotating exhibits and a research library. The museum hosts educational programs, community events, and traveling exhibitions that document African American social, cultural, and political history.
