St. Barbara Catholic Church (Namibia)

St. Barbara Catholic Church, located in downtown Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia, is a historic Roman Catholic church built in 1914. Dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of mine workers, it reflects the town's mining heritage. As the only operating church in Tsumeb from its founding until 1927, it played a significant role in the community. The church, constructed by German colonial authorities, remains a prominent landmark in the area, symbolizing the town's economic roots in mining.
