Alumni Hall (Fairfield University)

Alumni Hall was a notable 2,479-seat multi-purpose arena at Fairfield University in Connecticut, serving as the home for the Fairfield Stags basketball teams from 1959 until 2002. Renowned for its loyal fan base, the arena also hosted various events, including political visits and concerts by famous artists like The Beach Boys and John Legend. Opened in 1959, it featured innovative prestressed concrete architecture with record-breaking spans. The hall was demolished in 2021 and replaced by the Leo D. Mahoney Arena in 2022, continuing the legacy of sports and community events at the university.
