Russell Industrial Center - converted artist and manufacturing complex

The Russell Industrial Center occupies the former Fisher Body Plant 21 and has been redeveloped into one of Detroit's largest artist studio and light-manufacturing complexes. The multi-building campus houses hundreds of artists, small manufacturers, and creative businesses and regularly opens to the public for studio tours and events. The site is a notable example of adaptive reuse in Detroit's northwest industrial district.
