Aptiv & Lyft autonomous rides at CES 2018

During CES 2018 in Las Vegas, Aptiv partnered with Lyft to offer autonomous vehicle rides to conference attendees as a public demonstration. The service used instrumented, automated vehicles with safety drivers and engineers onboard and operated on routes around the Las Vegas Convention Center and Strip during the event. The deployment was one of the earliest large-scale, consumer-facing trials of autonomous ride-hailing in Las Vegas and drew extensive media attention.
