La Pagoda

La Pagoda, also known as Laboratorios Jorba, was an iconic building in Madrid designed by architect Miguel Fisac. Its unique design featured floors rotated 45º from one another, resembling a pagoda, and was constructed with a hyperboloid ruled surface. Serving as the headquarters for a pharmaceutical company, it became a notable landmark until its controversial demolition in 1999. This architectural gem is remembered for its innovative design and significance in Madrid's urban landscape.
