Highland Lodge

Highland Lodge, also known as Pequea, is a historic Victorian-era home and resort complex located in Frederick, Maryland. Built in 1881 as a summer retreat for prominent attorney John H. Williams, the property features a large, eclectic main house with a striking central gable, surrounded by various outbuildings including a stable, carriage house, barn, and a summer kitchen. The lodge's rich history and architectural charm make it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
