Amaliegade 12

Amaliegade 12 is a historic building located in the Frederiksstaden Quarter of Copenhagen, Denmark. Constructed between 1753 and 1755 by architect Nicolai Eigtved, it has served various notable residents, including Count Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow, who was prime minister in 1797. The building also housed the American diplomatic mission to Denmark in the early 20th century, where Ruth Bryan Owen became the first female ambassador.
