North Dakota Governor's Residence

The North Dakota Governor's Residence, located on the Capitol grounds in Bismarck, serves as the official home for the state's governors. The current residence, completed in 2018, is the third official governor's home, following a historic mansion built in 1884 and a mid-20th century residence that was demolished due to structural issues. The original mansion, which housed twenty governors until 1960, is now a state historic site. The new residence was constructed to address safety and accessibility concerns, featuring modern amenities while serving as a venue for public events.
