Katz's Delicatessen

Katz's Delicatessen opened in 1888 on New York's Lower East Side and is renowned for its pastrami and corned beef sandwiches as an enduring example of New York Jewish deli culture. The restaurant's storefront at 205 East Houston Street has been a continuous culinary landmark and tourist destination for decades. Katz's gained additional popular-cultural recognition for its appearance in the 1989 film When Harry Met Sally..., which featured a scene filmed inside the deli.
