Mission San José (San Antonio Missions folklore and legends)
By Seeker
Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo, part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, was established in the 18th century and is noted for its Rose Window and preserved mission structures. The mission and surrounding grounds are included in local folklore and ghost-tour narratives and are publicly interpreted for their historical significance. The San Antonio Missions were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015, and Mission San José is a frequent subject of historical and folkloric accounts.
