Mt. Atlas (Haymarket, Virginia)

Mt. Atlas is a historic home located near Haymarket, Virginia, built around 1795. This Georgian-style dwelling features a unique 2+1⁄2-story design with a side hall plan, complemented by a charming 1+1⁄2-story rear ell from the late 19th century and a two-bay front porch. Visitors can admire its single exterior stone chimney, metal gable roof, and decorative cornice. The historic district also includes a smokehouse and remnants of a former kitchen and carriage house.
