Central Saloon

The Central Saloon opened in 1892 and is one of Seattle's oldest continuously operating bars. Located in Pioneer Square, it served as a social and political gathering place for the neighborhood and later played a role in the local music scene by hosting early performances by Seattle bands. The building retains historic interior features and is widely cited in accounts of the city's cultural history.
