Colombischlössle Freiburg

The Colombischlössle is a historic manor house located in the heart of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, built between 1859 and 1861 in a gothic Tudor style. Originally commissioned as a widow's residence by Duches Maria Antonia Gertrudis von Zea Bermudez y Colombi, it showcases exquisite architectural features such as a historic stairwell and a light glass cupola roof. Today, it houses the Archaeological Museum Colombischlössle, which has been a cultural hub since its renovation in 1983. The surrounding park, designed as an English landscape garden, is open to the public and features exotic plants, a fountain, and art installations. The park has also been a venue for cultural events and exhibitions, making it a vibrant spot for both tourists and locals.
