Brook Ramble

Brook Ramble, also known as the James Crawford House, is a historic home located near Townsend, Delaware, built around 1810. This Federal-style brick dwelling features a distinctive slate-covered gable roof and interior brick chimneys. The main house, measuring approximately 28 by 33 feet, includes a side passage plan and an original service wing. Recognized for its historical significance, Brook Ramble was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture.
