Pitts Neck

Pitts Neck, also known as Pitts Neck Farm, is a historic house located near New Church in Accomack County, Virginia. This architectural gem features a two-story, five-bay brick main block that dates back to the mid-18th century, connected to a charming 1+1⁄2-story frame wing from the early 1700s. The house showcases a central passage plan and a distinctive shallow gable roof, highlighted by a beautifully crafted molded brick doorway. Recognized for its historical significance, Pitts Neck was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
