Tudor Place - historic house and garden installation

Tudor Place is a Federal-period historic house museum built in 1816 and located on a six-acre estate in Georgetown; it was the home of descendants of Martha Washington and retains original family furnishings and decorative arts. The site includes formal gardens, an archaeological collection, and interpreted rooms presented as preserved domestic installations reflecting 19th-century elite household life in Washington. Tudor Place is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and operates public tours and educational programs.
