Goshin bonsai at the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum

Goshin is a famous group bonsai of eleven Foemina junipers created by bonsai master John Y. Naka and displayed at the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum. The planting's name means “protector of the spirit” and Naka designed it as a family grouping honoring his grandchildren. Goshin has been on public display at the U.S. National Arboretum’s museum collection since its donation in the 1980s.
