Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

Morris Arboretum is the official arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania and preserves living collections of trees, shrubs, and historic gardens in Chestnut Hill. The site includes formal gardens, a fernery, and notable specimen trees planted over two centuries, along with the Compton Mansion on the grounds. Because the arboretum is located in a residential neighborhood several miles from Center City, its extensive plant collections and garden features are often overlooked by visitors to Philadelphia.
