Hyatt Terraces Baguio Hotel

The Hyatt Terraces Baguio, originally opened as the Terraces Plaza Hotel in 1976, was a prominent 12-storey five-star hotel in Baguio, Philippines, known for its unique stepped architecture inspired by the Banaue Rice Terraces. It featured lush atriums, panoramic mountain views, and various amenities including multiple restaurants, bars, a casino, and a spa. Tragically, the hotel was severely damaged during the 1990 Luzon earthquake, resulting in significant loss of life and leading to its closure. The site remains a poignant reminder of the disaster.
