Tracewell House

Tracewell House, also known as 'Maple Shadows' and Tracewell Manor, is a historic home located near Parkersburg, West Virginia. Built around 1835, this two-story brick structure showcases Greek Revival architecture, featuring a slate-covered gable roof and a two-story rear ell. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. Unfortunately, the house suffered severe fire damage on December 24, 2025, making it a poignant site for those interested in local history and architecture.
