Oklahoma City National Memorial – Field of Empty Chairs

The Oklahoma City National Memorial commemorates the victims, survivors, rescuers, and all affected by the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Its Field of Empty Chairs displays 168 individual chairs arranged on the memorial's reflecting pool, each chair representing a person killed in the attack. The site also includes the Survivor Tree, an American elm that survived the blast and serves as a living symbol of resilience. The memorial and museum are located on the former Murrah Building site.
