Borchs Kollegium

Borchs Kollegium is a historic university dormitory located in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark, founded in 1691 by chemist Ole Borch. The current building, inaugurated in 1825, is the third structure on the site, following the destruction of the original and its successor due to fires in the Great Fire of Copenhagen and the Battle of Copenhagen. The dormitory has housed notable residents, including the famous Danish dramatist Ludvig Holberg and war hero Jens Paludan-Müller, whose legacy is commemorated in the garden.
