Tirana's Rock

Tirana's Rock is an impressive mixed-use highrise building in Tirana, Albania, designed by the renowned architectural firm MVRDV. Standing at 89 meters tall with 26 floors, it will serve as a residential, commercial, and office space, while also functioning as a striking sculpture representing Gjergj Kastrioti, a key historical figure in Albania. The building features sustainable architecture elements, including balconies with built-in planters and systems for natural ventilation and rainwater harvesting, making it environmentally friendly. It is part of a larger development around Skanderbeg Square, contributing to Tirana's post-communist architectural renaissance and blending art with modern design.
