SFJAZZ Center (Hayes Valley)

SFJAZZ Center is a purpose-built jazz venue designed by Mark Cavagnero and opened in January 2013 in the Hayes Valley neighborhood. The center presents national and international jazz artists, community programs, and education initiatives, and includes a main auditorium and smaller club spaces. It is the first free-standing building in the U.S. specifically constructed for jazz performance in many decades.
