Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo (Mission San José)

Founded in 1720 and popularly called the 'Queen of the Missions,' Mission San José is noted for its large complex, restored convento, and the ornate Rose Window. The church complex continues to be used for worship and is a frequent destination for religious visitors and cultural pilgrimages. Mission San José is within San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and is part of the site's 2015 UNESCO World Heritage listing.
