Beer Can House

The Beer Can House is a folk-art house in Houston created by John Milkovisch beginning in 1968, who covered large portions of the exterior and yard with flattened beer cans, bottle caps, and other recycled materials. The property has been preserved as a folk-art landmark and is open for public tours that illustrate Milkovisch's decades-long personal art project. The site is associated with Houston's tradition of vernacular and outsider art environments.
