Turner Hotel

The Turner Hotel, located in Mountain Home, Idaho, is a historic building constructed in 1899 and recognized on the National Register of Historic Places since 1984. Designed by architect W. S. Campbell, this three-story commercial block features a flat roof and spans seven bays on its east side and eleven bays on its south side. Originally built for W. J. Turner, who established the Turner House restaurant and hotel in 1883, the hotel reflects the architectural style of its era. It was later known as the Mellen Building after being purchased by miner Thomas Mellen in 1913, making it a notable landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in local history.
