Wang Theatre (Boch Center)

The Wang Theatre at 270 Tremont Street opened in 1925 as the Metropolitan Theatre and was later renamed the Wang in 1983 after a major donation; it is now part of the Boch Center. The ornate, historic auditorium hosts touring Broadway productions, concerts, and dance performances and is one of Boston's principal large-capacity performing arts venues. Its preservation and continued use contribute to the city's theatrical and cultural scene.
