Pioneer Courthouse (historic federal building)

Pioneer Courthouse, completed in the 1870s, is the oldest federal building in the Pacific Northwest and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has housed federal courts and other government functions for more than a century and sits adjacent to Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland. The courthouse is noted for its Italianate architectural details and preserved historic courtroom spaces that contribute to Portland's civic history.
