Heercleff

Heercleff, also known as Killarney Cliffs, is a historic house located in Springfield, Missouri, built in 1921. This impressive three-story dwelling features unique cobblestone walls and clipped gable roofs, along with a charming two-story guesthouse connected by an arched rock-walled breezeway. The property includes notable stone retaining walls and a grand stairway leading to the river. Once owned by Frances X. Heer, the founder of Heer's Department Store, Heercleff was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2016, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
