Balclutha at Hyde Street Pier (San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park)

The square-rigged ship Balclutha, built in 1886, is permanently moored at Hyde Street Pier and is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park. The ship is on display for self-guided and docent-led tours on scheduled days and is used to interpret maritime commerce and sailing technology of the late 19th century. Hyde Street Pier and its collection of historic vessels are maintained by the National Park Service and are accessible from the park's visitor areas along Jefferson Street. The Maritime National Historical Park's public address and visitor services are centered at this Jefferson Street location.
